The Sydney Airport Gold Ambassador programme provides help for passengers and visitors to the international and domestic terminals. They will help with any queries you have about check-in, transport, airport facilities or accommodation. The ambassadors are easy to spot as they wear bright gold jackets.

If you want a private meet and greet service, you will need to book ahead with a private company. Taxi companies and limousine services will often be willing to do this. As an example, Getaway Shuttles (www.getawayshuttles.com, mobile 0410 604 935) offers a private meet and greet service with immediate transfer to hotels in the CBD for $120 for up to six passengers. This includes all road tolls.

There are many shuttle bus companies that provide transport between the airport and Sydney suburbs and regional areas. Check the Yellow Pages under Airport Shuttle Services, www.yellowpages.com.au. Check to see if your hotel provides a shuttle service when making your reservation, or call the Sydney Visitor Centre in the International Terminal on 9667 6050.
