For a relaxing option to trans-Huangpu traffic, there are several ferries departing from different points on the Puxi side, but a convenient one is that which leaves from the end of Jinling Dong Lu by the Bund. From 06:00 to 21:00, the ferry departs every 15 minutes. Tickets are 5 jiao/RMB 1 for a standard single/return, or RMB 2 /4 for a boat with air-conditioning. Crossings take 10-15 minutes. For a more leisurely journey you can take a Huangpu River Cruise (8285 0707), which departs from the southern end of the Bund and costs around RMB 25 for an hour’s journey.
