Major hotels do offer exchange services for some of the main currencies, however, independent money exchanges tend to offer better rates and a broader number of currencies. Banks also provide exchange services but again the rates may be slightly higher and the range of currencies more limited than the independent money exchanges. Most exchange centres follow similar timings of 08:00 to 12:00 then 16:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, with some open from 16:00 to 20:00 on Friday. The majority are located within shopping malls.
