General Information » Getting Around » Tram

Paris’ tram lines provide clean and quiet accompaniment to their big brothers, the metro, bus and RER. The newest to join the family, the T3 line along the city’s southern rim, is the only tramway fully within the city limits. In its first six months of its existence (it opened mid-December 2006), the T3 welcomed five million passengers, and its popularity has spurred discussion on extending it eastward.

Tickets work the same for the tram as they do for the other public transit systems – make sure you validate your ticket upon entry.
