There are ten official Paris welcome centres dotting the city and the flagship office – the Pyramides centre – is just off l’Avenue de l’Opéra in the 1st. There, one can find Paris tourist information (museums, things to do, special events); make hotel reservations; book excursions and shows; and purchase 'Paris Visite' (transport) and museum passes. The Pyramides centre is open every day from 09:00 to 19:00, June through October, and from 10:00-19:00 Monday through Saturday, 11:00-19:00 Sundays, November through May. Most other centres offer similar services. The Carrousel du Louvre centre, located in the inverted Louvre pyramid, offers information on the Ile de France region.
