A cheaper alternative to staying in a hotel is to rent furnished accommodation. This can be done on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. While it may not be as luxurious as a five-star hotel room, a hotel apartment can feel more like home. Usually the apartments come fully furnished, from bed linen to cutlery, plus maid service. There is usually a range of sports and leisure facilities, such as a gym, swimming pool and possibly even a restaurant or cafe, in the building.
