Unfortunately money exchange is a fairly complicated affair, with many major banks only offering the service for their own customers. There are random exchange offices (or bureaux de change) around town, but these usually give lousy rates or charge high commission. One solution is to use your credit card or ATM card to withdraw dollars. If you do need to exchange money, try to do it at the airport or at well-known offices like Thomas Cook (at various locations).
