You can change cash and travellers’ cheques at banks, post offices, large travel agents, some Tourist Information Centres, American Express and bureau de change outlets throughout the city. Banks and travel agents will usually charge a fixed fee, about 3% with a minimum fee of £2.50, but post offices don’t charge any interest. If it’s not convenient to go to a post office, TTT Foreign Exchange Corporation (7836 0528) and Thomas Exchange Global (7240 1214) both have several branches in the city centre.
