XXX L 2 XXX What to Wear

One of the things you can rely on in London is the unreliability of weather. While the UK’s climate can hardly be called extreme compared with some other parts of the world, the unpredictability means it’s advisable to be prepared for most possibilities when dressing. It can get very cold in the winter, with temperatures in low single figures, so it’s sensible to wrap up in warm clothing, including a hat and scarf. Summers, while not consistently sweltering, tend to have several hot spells, where temperatures can reach the high 30s. The main thing to be prepared for, however, is rain – it can pour down at a moment’s notice, whatever the month. The key to being comfortable is layering – so you can adjust to temperature changes – and having a waterproof jacket and umbrella to hand.
