Kuwait Public Transportation Company (KPTC) operates a daily ferry service from Ras Al Ardh in Salmiya to Failaka Island. Departure times vary and the return journey costs KD 2.500 per person, with additional charges for vehicles. Call for more info (574 2664). Dhows can be hired from any dhow harbour for a daily charge of about KD 100. Boats and yachts are available to hire from most of the yacht clubs.
