Taxes and service charges are included in the bill in hotels, restaurants, taxi fares etc, so tips are not required. However, they may be justified for good service, in which case the amount is discretionary. In taxis, it is common to round up to the nearest franc, while in restaurants, up to ten percent is acceptable.
