While it may lack the picturesque countrysides of England or the quaint scenery of Europe, Dubai is still full of fascinating sights that you will want to capture with your camera. Normal tourist photography is acceptable but, like anywhere in the world, it is courteous to ask permission before photographing people, particularly women. In general, photographs of government buildings, military installations, ports and airports should not be taken. See also Camera Equipment in Shopping.
