General Information » Essential Info » Tourist Information

There are five main tourist offices in the city. The biggest is underground in Plaça Catalunya on the El Corte Ingles side of the square (807 11 72 22, look for the big red signs). Multilingual staff are available from 09:00 to 21:00 every day. They will help with hotel bookings, open air bus tours, maps and general tourist information. The Columbus monument tourist office, also open from 09:00 and 21:00 daily, offers information on the city’s cultural attractions, but cannot help with hotel bookings. There is tourist information outside terminals A and B of Barcelona El Prat Airport, and Sants Station has an information centre, with maps and leaflets. Information is also available at the Spanish National Tourist Office, SNTO, in Australia, Ireland, Canada, the UK and the US, or alternatively www.barcelona-turisme.com.
