The summer in Bahrain can get extremely hot and humid. From June to September, temperatures average 35°C (97°F) during the day, sometimes reaching 48°C at the height of summer. From November to April the weather is much more pleasant, with warm days and cool nights. Temperatures at this time range from 15°C to 24°C. The coolest months of the year are generally December and January, when the island experiences northern winds, and at night the temperature sometimes drops to 10°C.
