A cheaper alternative to staying in a hotel is to rent furnished accommodation. This can be done on a daily/weekly/monthly or yearly basis and there are a number of agencies offering this service. One advantage is that the place can feel far more like a home than a hotel room. Usually the apartments will come fully furnished, from bed linen to cutlery, plus maid service. Additionally, there may be sports facilities, such as a gym and swimming pool in the building. Prices start from around Dhs.1,400 per week for a one bedroom apartment in a five star rated establishment.
