With several towns, historical attractions and a close view of the impressive rock faces of Jabal Misht, there's plenty to see on the way to the lovely hidden surprises at Wadi Damm (or Dham). You don't have to be a dedicated history buff to find interest in the ancient beehive tombs of Al Ayn and Bat, the latter of which is featured on Unesco's list of World Heritage Sites.
