Oman Off-Road Routes: Wadi Bih

Wadi Bih

Rising to a spectacular 1,000m, Wadi Bih is considered to be the 'Grand Canyon' of the UAE. This coast-to-coast route is simply one of the most dramatic drives in the Emirates. You actually pass through two wadis, each with their own distinct feel; Wadi Bih on the west coast and the narrower Wadi Khabb ash Shamsi on the east coast, in Omani territory. Over recent years, this trip has become easier as the route is now tarmac all the way to the Emirati checkpoint. Look forward to majestic views and the outdoors at its best.

Note: The UAE checkpoint is currently closed to everyone except UAE and Oman Nationals.
