While Wadi ash Shab is very easily accessed and may be the most popular tourist destination on the East Coast, Wadi Tiwi retains a wild and rugged character with its tricky driving on narrow roads (and will surely warm the hearts of off-road enthusiasts). Both wadis feature outstanding hikes, which would make anybody's top ten list for Oman.
