Muscat - Sur Road Route

Coast Road (p.204-207) This road route takes you from Muscat through some rocky foothills to the coastal town of Qurayyat. The new dual carriageway then whisks you down the coast, giving access to three off-road routes in addition to several attractions along the way. The ancient seafaring town of Sur awaits at the end of this very scenic drive. Inland Road (p.208-211) We won't mince words here: there isn't much to see on the inland road from Muscat to Sur, but it does provide variety and an alternate return route for your trip down the coast.
