We are currently looking for experienced editorial staff to join our team both on the consumer and corporate sides of the business. For our retail products ideal candidates will have travel guide experience either on books or magazines, while candidates for our contract publishing arm will have a proven track record working on a wide variety of corporate solutions. Our positions require a minimum of 5 years' editorial experience. The roles require managing project schedules, budgets and teams, exceeding client deadlines and expectations, as well as a creative approach to developing client solutions. We’re looking for all-round editorial skills with a meticulous approach to project management.
Junior Designer (SD-09)
Candidates must possess a graphic design degree with 1-3 years commercial experience. Sound
understanding of print and design processes are essential, with the ability to work individually and as
part of a team, as well as show initiative with creative input following guidelines set by Creative and Art
Directors. Candidates’ folios must demonstrate strong skills in the latest Adobe software, editorial
layout, typography and detail. Arabic layout and design skills are an advantage.
Media Sales (MS-09)
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 12 months’ media sales experience, ideally within online and
magazine sales, and will be comfortable will both telesales and face-to-face appointments. A strong
command of English, both spoken and written, is a must. We are looking for an individual who works
well in a structured sales environment, where targets and clear business objectives are the driving force,
and who has the ambition to efficiently and professionally bring in results. UAE driving licence required.
Freelance Web Developer (WD-09)
We are currently looking for experienced Website Developer required with 2+ years experience in PHP/ASP, MySQL/Access on a freelance/part-time contract to develop a Content Management System.
Candidate will need provide links to show past CMS projects demonstrating the ability to manage HR, Production, Client, Inventory and Sales.
Senior Media Sales Area Manager, Abu Dhabi

In addition, Explorer has a burgeoning contract publishing arm offering corporate solutions to a wide variety of clients, including commemorative books, annual reports, above-the-line advertising campaigns, direct marketing, digital solutions and customised guides and maps.
We are currently looking for an experienced Media Sales person to join our sales team covering Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will work well in a structured sales environment, where targets and clear business objectives are the driving force, and will have the ambition to efficiently and professionally bring in results.
The positions require a minimum of 4 years media sales experience – a proven media sales track record for online, print, sponsorship and contract publishing would be a distinct advantage. Ideal candidates will be currently based in Abu Dhabi and have a working knowledge of the media sales market there.
A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, is a must. Driving license is required, as successful candidates will be expected to travel throughout the UAE.
